Accredited specialists in business law have extensive business law experience, and have successfully completed an advanced, peer reviewed assessment program specific to this area of the law.
To be eligible for admission to the specialist accreditation program in Queensland, a lawyer must be able to demonstrate the following important qualities:
be able to demonstrate a substantial involvement of not less than 25% of full time practice in the area of business law for a continuous period of 3 years before applying
have been engaged in full time legal practice for a minimum of 5 years
hold a current practising certificate in Australia and be a member of the Queensland Law Society.
